Solar sites are never a blank canvas. Work with the boundaries, parameters, and engineering decisions that shape a real project.
Explore site capacity with configurable module, string, and spacing assumptions. Get an early read on what your buildable area can support.
CAPACITY EXPLORATIONAutomate repetitive array placement and explore inverter and access-road arrangements. Put more attention into the decisions that need an engineer.
LAYOUT AUTOMATIONCarry concept layouts into the next stage with DXF geometry and PDF summaries. Make your design easier to review, compare, and refine.
ENGINEERING HANDOFFA layout is a decision, not just a drawing. Keep the inputs visible and make room for iteration before committing to a direction.

Choose module dimensions, string configuration, GCR, and DC-to-AC ratio.
Explore placement and capacity, then evaluate the result against your project needs.
Export the concept for CAD development and engineering review.
SunGrid Studio began with a simple question: how much of solar design’s repetitive work could we take off an engineer’s plate?
Founded by Riley, a solar design engineer with experience across residential, commercial, and utility-scale projects, SunGrid Studio grows out of hands-on layout work and a drive to make it better.
The product is in development and is not available for public download yet. This site introduces the platform and its direction. Release timing and early-access details will be announced here.
The interactive illustration lets you explore layout layers. It is a concept preview, not a project calculation or a screenshot of the current application.
No. Automated layouts are starting points for informed decisions. Site conditions, electrical design, permitting requirements, and final plans still need qualified review.
Pricing has not been announced. We’re focused on developing a practical tool before promising a plan or release date.
